At present there are very few sites directly relevant to actors. The sites here do, however, deal with a lot of wider performance related issues and may offer some useful information and signposting.
ArtsMinds – the signposting website for performers. This site is not manned regularly so if you contact them it may take a while to get a response.
Equity – this is a trade union covering a range of industry professionals, including actors, dancers, stage managers, variety performers, designers and more. They have a facility to refer members to BAPAM for up to 6 sessions of counselling. Please contact your local organiser for more information.
Industry Minds – runs a podcast and a counselling service. To access the counselling service please email info@industryminds.co.uk
Spotlight Hub – Spotlight is primarily a casting organisation but has a dedicated mental health team member, with an information hub designed to support mental health and wellbeing. Spotlight also runs semi-regular workshops and seminars.
TALK – these are peer to peer support sessions run weekly on a Tuesday at 17:30. For more information see their Twitter feed.
